Promotional giveaways
Ferpar builds promotional plush for buy-one-get-one runs, sticker collections and loyalty redemptions. Retail-ready packaging, a per-unit cost you can defend to finance, and a schedule planned backward from the promotion start date — not forward from our production queue.
Pain points
“The promotion date was signed off before we placed the order.”
Retail flyers lock six to ten weeks ahead. Stock that arrives late is stock you pay for and cannot use.
“Our ceiling is under three dollars a unit.”
Giveaway economics are not gift-shop economics. Every decision has to start from the target cost.
“The carton has to survive a supermarket pallet.”
Retail distribution centres reject crushed cartons, missing barcodes and unlabelled mixed boxes.
“One order, twelve regional warehouses.”
Distribution is planned by region. One container to one address does not solve it.
“It still has to pass the same test as a toy.”
Small parts, seam strength, fibre shedding and age grading apply to a free gift exactly as they do to retail stock.
The brief we need
Promotion mechanics, target unit cost, flyer date and ship-to list. Those four decide whether a design is even possible before anyone talks about price.
How we solve it
We confirm the live date, then work backward through sampling, lab dip, bulk, testing, freight and DC booking. If the date cannot be met, we say so before you commit.
Size, fabric weight, fill density and packaging are chosen against your per-unit ceiling. We quote two or three build options rather than one number you cannot change.
Polybag with suffocation warning, header card with barcode, or printed colour box. Cartons stencilled to your distribution centre's specification.
One purchase order, several ship-to addresses. Documents and labels are prepared per destination, so each warehouse receives a clean delivery.
EN71-1/2/3 and ASTM F963, run on the pre-production sample. Reports are issued before bulk starts, not after it lands.
Mechanics
Same production line, four very different cost structures.
Mechanic 01
A trigger item for a spend threshold. Sized to sit beside the till or drop into the bag without crushing the product.
Plush Keychains & CharmsMechanic 02
Six to twelve designs in one series, so collection drives the repeat visit. Ratios can be set per design to match redemption curves.
Blind Box & Series ControlMechanic 03
Low minimum per design, shipped in waves as redemption becomes measurable. Reorders reuse the same pattern and fabric lot.
Plush Merchandise OverviewMechanic 04
Hang-tag or shelf-ready units for supermarket seasonal aisles. Pallet configuration agreed with your merchandising team.
Holiday & Seasonal PlushCost structure
Indicative levers, not a quotation. Two builds at the same size can differ by a factor of three.
| Item | Typical effect |
|---|---|
| Size (10 cm vs 25 cm) | Roughly 2.5× the fabric and 3× the fill |
| Fabric (CVC vs short-pile plush) | 25–40% of unit cost on its own |
| Fill (PP cotton vs down-like) | Hand-feel versus cost; density is the hidden lever |
| Packaging (polybag / header / colour box) | US$0.05–0.35 per unit |
| Testing (EN71 / ASTM F963) | One-off per design family, not per unit |
| Quantity | Sampling and tooling amortise from roughly 3,000 pcs |
| Freight mode | Sea 30–35 days, air 5–7 days, DDP to your DC |
The cheapest build is rarely the one that survives a supermarket pallet. We quote the cost of the packaging and testing separately so the trade-off is visible to whoever signs it off.

FAQ
100 pcs per design for plush and keychains, 300 pcs for a series with ratio control. Below that, sampling and tooling dominate the unit price and the number stops being useful.
For a repeat design, yes. For a new design it depends on whether artwork is final: sampling takes 7–10 days, bulk 25–35 days, air freight 5–7 days. We confirm the calendar before you commit.
You do, once the order is placed. Patterns are stored under your reference and are not reused for another client.
Yes. Header cards, colour boxes and carton marks are printed with your codes. We can also apply stickers supplied by your DC.
Yes. One order can be split across addresses with per-destination labels and packing lists. Freight is quoted per lane.
Material already cut is charged; unmade units are not. The position is written into the order confirmation so there is no argument later.
