About Ferpar · Since 2009

One Factory in Ningbo. Plush, Mascots and Inflatables Under One QC File.

Ferpar is not a trading company with a photo library. We cut, embroider, sew, stuff, carve and pack in a single 8,000 sqm plant, with 320 people who have been doing it since 2009. That is why a buyer can order a 6 cm keychain and a 2.2 m mascot on the same purchase order and get one inspection report.

Who we are

A Factory Built Around Sampling, Not Around Catalogue Photos

Ferpar Custom started in 2009 as a 40-machine plush workshop supplying one European importer. The first mascot costume left the building in 2013, and by 2019 the whole operation had moved into the current plant: cutting room, embroidery hall, sewing lines, stuffing, hand-finishing, EVA carving, an inflatable bay and a dedicated sample room on the same floor.

That layout is deliberate. Most quality failures in this industry happen in the gaps between suppliers: a plush body sewn in one town, the eyes embroidered in another, the box printed somewhere else. Keeping every stage under one roof means one pattern file, one colour approval, one QC standard and one person accountable when something drifts.

We work OEM and ODM for brand owners, IP licensors, sports clubs, universities and retail buyers. Some send a finished tech pack. Most send a sketch on a sticky note. Both are normal here.

  • No trading layer. You quote with the people who run the line.
  • Sample room in-house. Revisions happen in days, not weeks.
  • NDA by default. Signed before a single file is opened.
  • One QC file. Plush, mascot and packaging inspected together.

Capacity

What 8,000 sqm Actually Produces

These are the numbers we quote in a capacity review. They are monthly, they are averages across a normal mix, and they are the reason a 30,000-piece seasonal order does not push a mascot project off the line.

Milestones

Seventeen Years, One Direction: Keep More Stages In-House

Every expansion on this list removed an outside supplier from the chain. That is the whole strategy.

  1. 2009

Founded as a 40-machine plush workshop

1,200 sqm rented floor, one European importer, hand-cut patterns. The first order was 3,000 souvenir bears.

  2. 2013

    Mascot division opens

Moved to 3,500 sqm, added 12 embroidery heads and the first EVA carving room. First sports club mascot shipped to the UK.

  3. 2016

ISO 9001 and in-house metal detection

Quality system certified, needle and metal detection installed at final inspection. First US retail program with AQL 2.5 acceptance.

  4. 2019

    Current 8,000 sqm plant

All stages consolidated under one roof, plus a dedicated sample room so revisions no longer queue behind bulk production.

  5. 2022

    Inflatable bay and battery logistics

Added inflatable production with seam testing, fan sourcing and UN38.3 documentation for lithium battery packs.

  6. 2024

    3-day 3D prototype workflow

Digital modelling replaced most first-round physical samples for shape approval, and lab-dip colour approval became standard for brand work.

  7. 2026

    320 people, 150,000 pcs a month, 32 countries

Plush, mascots, inflatables and merch quoted on one file, shipped FOB, CIF or DDP.

Compliance

Paperwork That Survives a Customs Check

A test report is only useful if it names your product, your materials and the standard your market enforces. We quote testing as a separate line so you can see exactly what is being covered, and we work with SGS, BV and Intertek for third-party reports.

  • ISO 9001:2015

Quality management system, audited annually. Covers incoming material, in-line checks and final inspection records.

  • EN 71-1 / 2 / 3

EU toy safety: mechanical and physical properties, flammability, and migration of certain elements.

  • ASTM F 963

US toy safety specification, including small parts, sharp edges and heavy-element limits for children's products.

  • CE & REACH

Technical file support, EU declaration of conformity and REACH SVHC statements for fabrics, dyes and inks.

Working with us

What Changes When You Buy Direct

Four things buyers notice in the first two weeks. None of them are about price.

Cutting room to packing, one building
  1. 01

You talk to the person who will run the job

Every project gets a named engineer and a project code. The engineer who prices your brief is the engineer who answers the sample revision question six weeks later.

  2. 02

Problems are raised before the invoice, not after

Design review is where we say "this ear will flop" or "this gradient will not hold in plush". It is cheaper to argue with a render than with a container.

  3. 03

    Your files stay yours

NDA signed first, access limited to named staff, patterns and moulds stored under your project code and never reused for another buyer.

  4. 04

    The factory is visitable

Book a visit or a live video walk-through. Third-party inspection is welcome at any stage, and we do not ask you to announce it a month ahead.
