A blind box only works if the contents stay secret and the ratio stays honest. As a collectible plush blind box factory, we engineer the whole series: matched box weight, opaque sealed packaging, carton-level assortment and per-batch QC.
We work as an OEM designer plush toys supplier for launches, crowdfunding and licensed IP. Our line covers mystery box plushies wholesale for retailers.

Ask a production questionYou set it — 1:72, 1:144 and 1:288 are the common structures — and we run the chase as a separate production batch so it cannot leak into the open assortment. Packing is the control point: a ratio sheet travels with the master carton, the chase is inserted at a fixed position per inner box, and the packer signs the count.
Sealed boxes are never opened at QC; we inspect unassembled components before bagging instead. If you need third-party confirmation, we arrange a pre-shipment inspection on the packing line rather than opening retail units afterwards.
It depends on the destination. Zinc alloy with electrophoretic coating clears about 48 hours of salt spray (ASTM B117) and is fine for a dry EU winter launch. For Southeast Asia, Brazil or any route with long port dwell, specify 304 stainless or e-coated alloy in VCI film, which pushes past 96 hours.
Nickel release is a separate REACH requirement for skin-contact parts, so 'nickel-free plating' is a written spec we ask from the hardware supplier — not an assumption made at assembly.
At 7 cm the face is about 22 mm wide, so the honest limit is a two-colour eye, a simple brow and a mouth line — roughly 0.8 mm minimum stitch width. Anything finer has to change technique: a printed or sublimation patch for gradients, or a heat-transfer face for licensed line art.
We send a digitised preview and a physical sew-out on the actual fabric before production. A design that reads at 200 mm on screen can turn to mud at 22 mm on minky, and that discovery is much cheaper in our sampling room than in a 3,000-piece run.
Yes — 100 pcs per design is our floor, and six designs in one carton is normal for a test drop. The trap is packaging: display boxes and moulded trays carry their own tooling MOQ, usually 500–1,000 units, so a 300-piece run often ships in a stock display while the retail box waits for the reorder. We quote both paths side by side so the decision is yours, with numbers.
A new sculpt comes out of our own sampling room in 7–10 days, so a test drop does not have to be a six-week gamble.
